Meet Tracker: The Bomb-sniffing Pup

Tahoe Beach Club has a new K9 companion - Tracker, the bomb-sniffing dog!

Recently, the Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District reached out requesting for Tracker to use Building One's wash station. Giving back is our top priority, so of course, we said yes!

Tracker and his handler, Kris Rowlett, work tirelessly to protect our community, undergoing extensive training. As a result, Tracker can detect 14 unique scents in commercial and homemade explosives. So it's no wonder he is a member of the Northern Nevada Bomb Technicians Task Force, working alongside other amazing dogs from the University of Nevada Reno and the Reno Police Department.

We are so grateful to support our community's first responders and their efforts to keep us safe. If you happen to see Tracker and Kris at the Club, be sure to say hello! You are in the presence of real, local heroes.
