    Reports to: Director of Spa and Fitness, Spa and Fitness Supervisor

    Supervises: No supervisory duties are included in this position.

    Education and/or Experience:
    • Post-secondary Vocational/Technical School.
    • Two years of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist in a luxury resort setting.

    Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations:
    • Expertise in multiple massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, hot and cold stone massage, acupressure and reflexology.
    • Assess client’s soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength and range of motion.
    • Confer with the client about his/her medical history, any problems with stress, any history of fractures and surgeries and/or pain issues to determine how and whether massage would be helpful.
    • Develop and propose client treatment plan if applicable.
    • Knowledge of an ability to perform role in emergency situations.

    Job Summary (Essential Functions): Provide professional, quality, therapeutic massage and bodywork to members and their guests.

    Job Tasks/Duties:
    • Greets and assists members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Performs Spa treatments for members and their guests for therapeutic and remedial reasons.
    • Prepares, blends and heats oils for application in service.
    • Makes entries in and maintains treatment records for each member-client.
    • Provides necessary information to spa desk for billing.
    • Coordinates scheduling with Spa Receptionist.
    • Answers questions about massage therapy.
    • Communicates to Spa Director about member or operation concerns.

    Licenses and Special Requirements:
    • Must have First Aid and CPR/Defibrillator training.
    • Must have a current Nevada State Massage Therapy License.

    Physical Demands and Work Environment:
    • Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment, which is typical of this position.
    • Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling.
    • Frequent repetitive motions.
    • Continuous standing and walking.
    • Must often work in humid and low-level light environment.
    • Must be able to tolerate a variety of odors including massage oils and lotions.

    Job Tasks/Duties:
    • Greets and assists members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Build and maintain relationships with members to encourage repeat visits.
    • Evaluating the condition of clients’ skin and nails and advising them on proper care that is suited to their needs.
    • Remain on the cutting edge of the latest products, trends, and techniques.
    • Performs Spa skin and body treatments on members which include exfoliation, microdermabrasion, chemical peels and other skin refinements.
    • Ability to perform waxing services.
    • Providing high-quality manicures and pedicures.
    • Recommending various nail designs and nail art to clients.
    • Maintains all skincare tools. Sanitizing all nail instruments and equipment before each use.
    • Ensuring that workstations are kept clean and orderly and nail supplies are adequately stocked.
    • Providing quality hand and foot massages.
    • Provides necessary information to spa desk for billing.
    • Coordinates scheduling with Spa Receptionist.
    • Communicates to Spa Director about member or operation concerns.

    Licenses and Special Requirements:

    Reports to: Director of Membership Experience

    Classification: Hourly, full time

    Job Summary:
    Work directly with the Director of Member Experience to exceed the member and guest expectations as a Club Ambassador. As a Club Ambassador you will assist in daily operations at various levels by attending to the needs of our Membership Service Department, Spa, and Outdoor Pursuits areas. You will provide members with instruction, direction, and guidance on a variety of activities in the 3 areas. Ensure our members experience is inviting, clean, and organized for their enjoyment as well as the overall operation of the facility. Anticipate the needs and wants of the membership while exceeding all expectations.

    Essential Function: Employees of Tahoe Beach Club ensure the highest level of service to members and their guests by providing personal, gracious, and professional service.

    • Facilitate member requests as outlined in the member services program and anything else within reason
    • Provide club information to members and guests
    • Make members feel welcome by using their names and interact with every member
    • Record and report member or guest incidents and glitches including rules violations and complaints
    • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, coordinate appointments, and make reservations
    • Attend to various member and guest needs, including coordinating spa treatments, fitness services, outdoor excursions, special events, and transportation
    • Help maintain beach and pool facilities through supplying clean towels, organizing furniture, and offering additional amenities as needed
    • Maintain the appearance of the spa reception, spa retail, an fitness center areas while promoting those services to members
    • Stock and maintain supplies at the pool, beach, spa, lockers rooms and fitness center
    • Welcome and assist spa guests and attend to their pre and post treatment needs

    Physical Demands and Work Environment:
    Requires standing, walking, bending over, stooping and lifting
    • The setting may be noisy and cluttered at times
    • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods

    Licenses: CPR, first aid, and AED certificate are preferred. If not currently held, obtain these certifications as required by the Director of Member Experience

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
