Bobby King: Pillar of the Beach Club Community

Tahoe Beach Club has come a long way since opening its doors in 2020. We created a flourishing Lake Tahoe community with adventurous, active Members. But at the heart of it all is our dedicated team, who make Everything Right at the Beach. One team member is Bobby King: a key leader within our Beach Club family.

Bobby has worn many hats throughout his career at the Club, including General Manager, Director of Residential Services, and, ultimately, the development representative. Amid each position, Bobby's goal is to make strides for the better. "What I appreciate most about Tahoe Beach Club is our commitment to positive change." Bobby shares. "The hope is to be a catalyst in the community - setting the standard for ethical development and environmental consciousness.

During the Club's beginnings, Bobby and the leadership team worked to safely and successfully navigate the challenges of Covid. Their vision: refining the Tahoe lifestyle with exceptional Club experiences. For Bobby, the best part was seeing everything come together - "It's like a magic trick," Bobby explains. "What once was an empty box is now a home. People get to occupy that space and make it their own. It's like an art; it's a beautiful thing."

Even after retirement, Bobby is proud to carry on his board responsibilities. "This is like oxygen to me; it's fun. I don't consider it work," he says. Bobby's passion for our community is evident in everything he does, and we are endlessly grateful to have him as a member of our team.
