Tahoe Beach Club’s 2023 Member Events Year In Review
The last week of the year has one certainty… every time you turn on the television, there's another Year In Review. Not to be outdone, Tahoe Beach Club is joining the bandwagon with our very own edition! Yes, 2023 was a whirlwind of fun, featuring Member events that left our Beach Club community buzzing, so we're looking back and taking a deep dive into the top five unforgettable Member events that made this year one for the books:
5. TBC Talk - Paws and Applause: The year started with a bang (or a woof) as we hosted the incredible Sierra-at-Tahoe Ski Patrol Director Shannon Maguire and her life-saving K9 companions. Members had an inside look at their avalanche dog rescue program, which not only educates but also tugs at the heartstrings. The best part? Meeting those superstar canines in person!
4. Easter Extravaganza: Easter hopped in with a brunch and three egg hunts for all ages. But the best part was the Easter Bunny went green! Yep, our sustainability initiatives took flight as we recycled plastic eggs, showing our love for Mother Earth while having a blast.
3. Tahoe Beach Club’s 2nd Annual Alpenglow Festival: Tahoe Beach Club continued our commitment to the environment with our 2nd annual Alpenglow Festival. Amid the art auction, gourmet food, concert on our beach, and stellar fun for the whole family, Members raised over $52,000 for Clean Up and Lake and local Tahoe artists, smashing our 2022 Alpenglow Festival numbers. The event was the ultimate in partying with a purpose!
2. Hollywood Comes to TBC: As for unforgettable evenings, well, it's hard to top this one: An Intimate Dinner with Helen Mirren and Taylor Hackford. Our Members enjoyed a French-inspired meal and a captivating Q&A session with Helen Mirren, led by Academy Award winning director Taylor Hackford. Lights, camera, action—it was a night to remember!
1. Holiday Magic at the Bazaar: The 2023 holiday season sparkled with our 2nd Annual Holiday Bazaar. Local vendors filled our festively decorated Clubhouse, offering unique gifts for everyone’s holiday lists. Santa Claus made a grand entrance, lighting our Christmas tree and spreading holiday magic that warmed every heart.
