What makes Tahoe Beach Club stand out from other private clubs? It's our new Outdoor Pursuits program led by Chris Eckert, Director of Member Experience. We simply like to call him The DOME. 😂🤣😂 Chris' first line of business is our new ski club! If you're a snow enthusiast looking to elevate slope skills and make the most of Lake Tahoe's stunning views, this club experience is for you.
Chris is a seasoned ski instructor who hosted our first club event last week, The 15k Vertical Feet Challenge, where Members conquered more than 15,000 vertical feet in a single day at world-renowned Heavenly Mountain Resort. With Chris as the guide, Members navigated the slopes without the hassle of waiting in holiday lift lines, ensuring maximum skiing time and thrills.
In addition, Chris offered another exciting Heavenly event where Members learned the art of navigating the ski resort like a seasoned pro by considering forecasts, wind patterns, weather conditions, and crowd dynamics. Yep, he revealed the mountain's secrets, ensuring that Members make the most of their time on the slopes.
But Chris's expertise goes well beyond his Heavenly know-how. Our Members also enjoyed off-piste terrain at Kirkwood as Chris introduced ski club enthusiasts to the basics of navigating off-piste areas, helping Tahoe Beach Club skiers gain confidence while tackling challenging terrain and experiencing the beauty of untouched snow. They also explored the hidden gems of Kirkwood's backside, learning about optimal techniques and locations for skiing this less-traveled terrain.
What's ideal about our ski club experience is Members may sign up for one outing or participate in them all. It's totally geared towards convenience.
