Winter Activities in Tahoe

The snow has begun to fall and the holiday season is in full swing – it’s the most wonderful time of the year! And Tahoe Beach Club is centrally located to all the best winter activities Lake Tahoe offers. 

SKI & RIDE 

Heavenly – Tahoe Beach Club’s local resort and the largest in the basin. Heavenly doesn’t disappoint! TBC has a shuttle that will drop you off at the Gondola in Heavenly Village. No need to worry about driving in the snow or finding parking amongst the crowds. 

The Epic Pass – The Epic Pass includes access to Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood. Epic offers a variety of season pass options, including a Tahoe Local Pass and Tahoe Value Pass

Rentals – TBC’s Outdoor Pursuits (adventure outfitter) rents skis and boards. They can also provide recommendations for shops in town. 

Lessons – Our staff can set you up with great local instructors! 

SNOW ADVENTURES (No Lift Required)

Snowmobiling – Just up the street from Tahoe Beach Club, is ZEPHYR COVE RESORT which offers the ultimate Tahoe snowmobiling experience. You can choose between numerous snowmobile excursions from scenic-focused tours to customizable private tours. 

Snowshoeing  – You don’t have to travel far from the club. Just next door to the TBC property is Rabe Meadow, set inside National Forest land. On a fresh powder day, the trails offer some of the best snowshoeing in the basin. You can even rent snowshoes from Outdoor Pursuits for your excursion. Throughout the snow season, Outdoor Pursuits will offer guided snowshoe excursions for residents and members of Tahoe Beach Club. Be sure to sign up for one of the moonlight snowshoes!

Cross-country Ski – Throughout the season, TBC’s Outdoor Pursuits team will offer guided cross-county ski excursions. A great way to meet some of your fellow Tahoe Beach Club residents and members.  You can also head next door to the Rabe Meadow trails. ICE SKATE

Heavenly Village Ice Rink – Open from November to Easter, 10am to 8pm, 7 days a week. Located in Heavenly Village. 

Edgewood – Our local neighborhood resort offers ice skating to resort guests and the public. Price of admissions includes skate rentals. The TBC shuttle can drop you off at Edgewood or you can take a stroll along the lake shore in your snow boots! Edgewood on Ice

 

APRES-SKI

Relax & recharge (or keep the party going!) after your day on the mountain.

Heavenly Village – Restaurants, bars and live music

Stateline Casinos – If your day on the mountain wasn’t exhilarating enough, try your hand at a poker table or catch a live show at one of Stateline’s many casinos. Casinos include: Harrah’sHarveysBally’s (Formerly MontBleu) and Hard Rock

The Beach Club – With fire pits, a hot tub and a full bar, the Beach Club has everything you need to get warm and relax after a full day on the mountain.

Fancy a beer post ride? On the mountain: Steins Beer & Brats is the go-to, located near Patsy’s on the California side. Off the mountain: Check out South Lake Brewing for local craft brews or see what they’ve got on tap at The Hangar

The Beach Club has a full winter calendar of events for the kids, adults and the whole family.  From seasonal inspired craft classes to outdoor adventures to festive happy hours – there is something for everyone at the Club.
