Snow Day Activities

Picture a perfect winter morning: clear skies, fresh powder, and adventure ahead. The only thing between you and an amazing day is deciding what to do first. Of course, skiing is always a classic… but how about a change of pace?

Start with snowshoeing - it's a great way to get outside without the stress of hitting the slopes. Just grab gear from Outdoor Pursuits, pack snacks for the trail, and you're on your way. Luckily for Members, one of Tahoe's top snowshoeing spots, Rabe Meadows, is right next door. The 2.2-mile loop is excellent for all skill levels with a gently winding trail leading to beautiful Nevada Beach.

Want to kick things up a notch? Try snowmobiling right down the street at Tahoe Snowmobiles or venture off the beaten path with a two hour backcountry tour at the Zephyr Cove Resort. With breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Mountain Range, it’s one of the best ways to experience the Basin’s beauty.

As the sun sets, ice skate under twinkling lights at Heavenly Village. Surrounded by shops and restaurants, it's a great place for an evening of family fun. Plus, with plenty of firepits, it's easy to cozy up, toast a few marshmallows, and share stories about your day. Even rides to and from the village are covered with Tahoe Beach Club’s shuttle service.

Finally, after a long day of winter play, there's nothing better than a hearty meal and great company at our private lakeside club. Just round up your crew, grab a table at the Starboard Bar and Grille, and look out over Tahoe’s East Shore for a perfect end to your perfect day.
