The Perks of Shoulder Season

It’s that confusing time of year again; should we ski? Are we mountain-biking? As the season changes, we aren’t quite sure what the weather wants from us. But in Tahoe…why not do it all?

Although some may consider this time a seasonal lull, at Tahoe Beach Club, we’re convinced it’s the best time of the year. With cooler temps in the morning, you can hit the slopes and nearly convince yourself it’s still winter. By the afternoon, you can bask in the warm sunshine, welcoming spring as it arrives in fervor. With so much to do in Lake Tahoe, there is no “off-season.”

Hiking, biking, snowboarding, paddle boarding, or even sipping hot cocoa by a fire…the options for Tahoe residents are endless. And the best perk of all? No crowds. As the seasons converge, the guests go home, considering it too warm to ski but too cool to do anything else. This gives Tahoe Beach Club members a chance to enjoy our beautiful home without the noise…as nature intended.

After a full day soaking up all that our natural landscape has to offer, the beach club will be here waiting for you. Head to the wellness spa for a rejuvenating massage, or to the Starboard Bar & Grill for afternoon cocktails. Enjoy a fine dinner, watch the sunset on your private beach, and then, as the temperature drops back down, cozy up by an outdoor fire pit.  When it comes to Shoulder Season, Tahoe Beach Club has got you covered.

For those wanting to take advantage of the last few weeks of snow activities, Heavenly Ski Resort closes on April 24th, followed by Kirkwood on May 11th.
