In fact, just outside the gates, our residents experience direct access to one of the most beautiful trails in the area. Beginning at Rabe Meadows Trailhead, you’ll find a leisurely 2.2-mile trail running alongside Burke Creek. The trail is dog and family friendly, with year-around enjoyment– hike or bike during the warmer months, and snowshoe during the winter!

Rabe Meadows connects to a system of trails that span national and state forests, meaning you can keep your excursion short and sweet, or you can take on a bigger challenge. Either way, adventure seekers enjoy fresh alpine air and breathtaking vistas.
