We’re Just Getting Started

Tahoe Beach Club’s summer 2023 “The Right Footprint” campaign was a huge success! Our footprint calling is to be stewards of the lake, ambassadors of the beach, and partners in the community. The result… TBC members raised over $52,000 for the community, smashing our 2022 Alpenglow Festival numbers.

Through the festival, our community gave Clean Up The Lake $25,772 for their new Environmental Dive Center (EDC). The EDC is a hybrid between a conservation dive school and an environmental science center. “Clean Up The Lake is striving to create a more sustainable future not only through cleanup efforts but also through advocacy and preventive action, and most importantly, a transformative educational program based at the Environmental Dive Center,” says Founder & CEO Colin West.

In addition, the Club sold over $32,000 in artwork created by local artisans. “The Tahoe Basin has an accomplished art community, and we are proud to highlight their talents and support their craft,” states Tahoe Beach Club’s CEO Patrick Rhamey.

As our successful summer comes to a close, we’re turning our attention to next year. Our goal is to continue the upward fundraising projection and raise even more money for the community and lake we love. Hold on to your 2024 summer hat, folks, cause we’re just getting started!
