Van Sickle Bi-State Park
From your TBC Sales Team | Check the blog each Thursday for Shayla and Camden’s favorite local spots– from hikes to restaurants and more.
Only a six-minute drive from TBC, Van Sickle Bi-State Park is one of the most beloved hikes in the basin. The trail boasts incredible lake views and on a nice day you can easily see the slice of shoreline we call home.
Van Sickle truly can’t be beat when it comes to location and trailhead parking. Shayla and Camden met at the park at 10 am while the weather was crisp and cool. The trail is dog friendly, and Shayla’s pup Ellie wasted no time enjoying the sunshine.
While the uphill climb was a little daunting at first, the views were quickly worth it. About a mile and a half up the trail sits a small waterfall with a bridge over the stream and just further is a beautiful view of Tahoe Beach Club from above.
