Scrambles, Putts, and Victory: 2024 Masters Tournament
Tahoe Beach Club hosted the TBC Masters Tournament and Champions Dinner, where tradition met camaraderie and triumph. Against the backdrop of Genoa Lakes Golf Course and the Tahoe Beach Club Clubhouse, members gathered for three unforgettable events that marked the beginning of a new legacy.
Champions Dinner
The festivities kicked off with the Champions Dinner, a tradition inspired by the Masters Tournament. Members, Two-Person Scramble players, and Putt-Off Tournament participants came together for an evening of fine dining and celebration. The event featured a delectable Basque-inspired menu, paying homage to the 2023 Masters Champion, Mr. Jon Rahm. As the sun dipped below the horizon, laughter filled the air, setting the stage for the festive events to follow.
Two-Person Scramble Tournament
On the picturesque greens of Genoa Lakes, members took to the course for the highly anticipated Two-Person Scramble Tournament. With skill and strategy, teams vied for the coveted TBC green jacket, showcasing their skill amidst the stunning beauty of the Sierra. The competitive spirit was palpable, yet the camaraderie among participants highlighted the tournament. Member JT Chevallier and his guest Tim Streeper took home the prize.
Putt-Off Tournament
The celebration reached its peak during the Putt-Off Tournament, where members put their precision to the test. Against the backdrop of a lively viewing party, competitors vied for the Club's newest accolade—the "Happy Gilmore" gold jacket—taken home by Member Katy Rhamey. Cheers and laughter hit an all time high as each putt brought members closer to victory.
