Protect and Cherish

Okay, Beach Clubbers, It’s time to discuss some serious issues. Over two weeks ago, after the July 4th holiday, the League to Save Lake Tahoe removed over 8,000 pounds of trash from the shores of our beloved lake. Just think about it; the number is staggering and very disappointing. However, we always look for the silver lining; a positive in how Tahoe Beach Club can be a part of the solution instead of the problem. With that in mind, our Outdoor Pursuits team, in collaboration with the League to Save Lake Tahoe, has scheduled beach club community cleanups where members clean the shores of Nevada State Beach. Not only are we being stewards of the lake, but we’re also being great neighbors. Stay tuned to the Beach Buzz where we will post our scheduled clean-up events. We encourage each and every member to participate in at least one cleanup. It’s a great way to serve the environment; and bonus, it’s great fun!
