New Year’s Eve

Keep calm and snow on was the perfect theme for our New Year’s Eve celebration. Yep, December 31st was a Tahoe Basin doozy with 8 feet of snowfall in the higher elevations. In fact, there was so much accumulation that power outages and road closures ensued throughout the region. But Tahoe Beach Club would not be denied, and the party not thwarted.

Stranded members carpooled with their 4-wheel drive friends, and those without power showered and dressed in our spa locker rooms. Chef Dave, his team, and members of the staff stayed overnight to ensure everything was right at the beach for those in attendance. From the lobster thermidor and the balloon drop to the blizzard outside, our celebration was quite memorable.

But what really made this New Years one for the books was our community team effort to ring in the New Year TOGETHER. How special is that!
