Castle Rock Hike

Nestled in the mountains above Tahoe Beach Club is an incredible trail overlooking the lake - Castle Rock. The almost 3-mile loop is a favorite among locals for its easy accessibility and breathtaking views. Plus, on warm days, hikers can even watch rock climbers scale the majestic Castle Rock.

Camden, Shayla, and Shayla’s pup, Ellie, completed the hike in just over an hour, taking plenty of time to explore their surroundings. The trio opted for a short loop, but for those who enjoy the great outdoors, several additional trailheads stem off of the main trail.

The hike is optimal in summer and fall; however, Castle Rock is typically well-kept in the winter, making for a gorgeous snowy stroll. All in all, Shayla and Camden found this hike to be one of their favorites for a quick walk with wonderful views.
