Alpenglow Festival

Tahoe Beach Club’s first annual Alpenglow Festival was a smashing success, raising money for Tahoe artists and the lake we love.

Talia Koval kicked off the festival with a live painting of the club’s scenic views while members and their guests bid on curated artwork displayed throughout the Clubhouse. From porcelains to paintings, Alpenglow showcased the basin’s most established artists. But…it wasn’t just about art.

Music subtly echoed through the Clubhouse as Left of Centre, a Northern Nevada band, played on the beach. It was the perfect backdrop for our “Raise the Paddle” event where participants donated directly to Clean Up the Lake, a local nonprofit sending scuba divers and other volunteers on missions to preserve Lake Tahoe. Amid the laughter and cheering, Alpenglow guests raised a total of $12,950. Yep, we are fortunate to have such generous members!

We don’t have the final numbers yet; however, it appears our Tahoe Beach Club family contributed over $40,000 for art and the environment. Thanks to our wonderful members, guests, and staff, the Alpenglow Festival is a new tradition, and we are already looking forward to next year’s event.
