A Night of Enchantment
Tahoe Beach Club’s recent Masquerade Ball was an unforgettable evening that perfectly captured the magic of a summer solstice celebration. Inspired by the ethereal charm of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and the regency elegance of Bridgerton, the event was a fun blend of whimsy and sophistication.
Our Members and their guests arrived in decorative masks and themed attire, ready to immerse themselves in a night of enchantment. The Port Room was transformed into an enchanted forest, with fairy lights and hanging purple wisteria creating a dreamlike ambiance, which set the perfect backdrop for a night of merriment.
The festivities began with an instructor-guided regency dance, choreographed and taught by a character seemingly straight out of Regency-era London, adding a playful twist to the evening. Laughter and joy filled the room as everyone twirled and stepped to the moves of a bygone era.
The culinary options were a feast for the senses, with light bites and action stations manned by our chef and his team. Guests savored made-to-order bruleed fruits and profiteroles filled and topped to perfection. The Cotton Candy Tree was a standout feature, allowing members to pick their cotton candy straight off the branches.
As the night progressed, themed cocktails like Lavender, Rose & Linen, Forbidden Bourbon, and the non-alcoholic Basilico Refresher were enjoyed by all. The DJ set the mood with Bridgerton tunes, transitioning to modern beats that kept everyone dancing the night away.
